What Information GTR Collects

Collection of Contact Information

For customers to add referrals on the GTR platform, GTR needs references from the customer. For this purpose, while completing the referral form on our App , GTR collects and monitors your contact information which includes name, phone number, email address and other optional data like relationship and structural address to enable you to auto fill the data during the add referral process. This information is required for the purposes of risk analysis, enabling GTR to detect credible references, assess your risk profile and to determine your referral eligibility.

GTR generally collects two types of information—personally identifiable information (“PII”) and non-personally identifiable information (“Non-PII”). PII is any information that can be used to specifically identify you as an individual. For example, you may submit and GTR may collect your name, email address, address, phone number, or similar information through the Site. Non-PII consists of information that does not specifically identify you. The following sections describe how GTR collects and uses your PII and Non-PII.

Types of information Wordwide and GTR collects

Transfer of Assets

Wordwide and/or GTR may sell or purchase assets. Collected information is an asset. To cancel your account, send an email request to privacy@getthereferral.com from the email address you provided us in your registration. GTR will generally endeavor to remove your user information once they have received a cancellation request, but GTR cannot guarantee that your information has been or will be removed immediately. After cancellation of your account, you agree that GTR may retain non-accessible copies of your information for a commercially reasonable amount of time for internal and legal purposes.

Age Restrictions

Any person who provides information through the Site represents that they are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect PII from anyone under the age of 18. The Wordwide Site and GTR Site and Service are not designed for users under 18.

Choice

You may use your GTR account features on the Site to opt-out of notifications, promotional emails and newsletters. You will also have the ability to opt-in in the event that GTR share your information with other third-party organizations for their marketing or promotional uses or various other programs or features. The Wordwide Site and GTR Site is hosted in the United States. All information that is submitted by you is stored and processed within the US, which may not have the same data protection and privacy laws as your country. For your personal information, you agree to:

Be advised that updating or deleting certain information may cause your GTR account to become deactivated. If you are uncertain about what data is required, please confer with GTR’s support team before deleting any data.

If you decline your invite to join the GTR platform as either an employee or as a referral, you will not be registered as a user. GTR will immediately remove your name and contact information from our systems upon request. You will not be contacted or solicited for any purpose from our team.
